I hired Matt to handle a 10 year-old DUI case that I had never resolved, which had gone to a bench warrant. I had lost all of the documentation regarding the case, and my previous attorney had very little in his files as he didn't handle DUI cases any longer. I contacted several other attorneys in the area, all of whom told me that they could give my case a try, but I would probably go to jail either way, and their fees were significantly higher. Matt assured me immediately that he could handle my case and that I would not be going to jail, and he was right. Being out of state, I never met him in person but did not feel uneasy about it. The process was smooth and he was great about keeping me informed. He resolved the case with very little effort on my part and I am eternally grateful. "Knows his stuff!"

I was arrested for a DUI while traveling here from England. Being a simple English bloke I did not know where to turn for help because I didn't want to go to jail and I could not do any types of schools or such since I would be going back to England. Mr. Ruff took the case and quickly showed me he knew what he was doing. He went to Court for me and got the DUI charges dropped, how I do not know since my breath test was .13. Nevertheless, he saved me from jail and I did not have to do anything that would require I return to the states. Hire him if you want a take charge barrister that gets the job done!

"10 yr old DUI case"

After being arrested for DUI 10 yrs ago I hired a diferent lawyer, that lawyer up his fees to something I couldn't handle. Not living in CA I wasn't to worried about it. But now that I needed my DL back 10 yrs later I contact a few lawyers, most of the fees were outragous. Until I got a hold of Matt. Matt was able to get the bench warrant thrown out, the DUI dismissed, and only charged with simple reckless driving. His fees never changed, never asked for an extra dime. Thanks Matt.

I attend school in northern California and was on my way home to southern California after finals when I was pulled over for exceeding 100 mph. As a student, my biggest concerns were getting my license suspended, missing school, traveling back to so.
